Neon Star Studios was founded by Joel Rodriguez — a Venezuelan-British photographer, director and visual storyteller whose work sits at the intersection of portraiture, reportage and cinematic storytelling.

What started as a singular creative vision has grown into a boutique agency built on one belief: that the best visual work comes from people who are emotionally invested in what they make. We don't just facilitate — we shape, direct and deliver.

Today we represent a curated roster of creatives working across commercial, editorial and branded content. Our talent has shot for Alexander McQueen, GayTimes, the United Nations, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Skittles and more and has been recognised by the British Journal of Photography, the Aesthetica Art Prize, and exhibited across London, Amsterdam, Cologne and beyond.
